A lot of you have been asking about Bannf, Canada after seeing some of the pictures. Like most people, I had never heard of Bannf! We actually got to go because Laura’s dad had a board meeting there! It ended up being the trip of a lifetime!

Words can’t describe Bannf and the pictures don’t do it justice. I can say this though: You need to add Bannf, Canada to your Bucket List and find a way to get there, regardless of the cost. It’s worth it!

Below are just a few of my highlights and things I think you should check out when in Bannf. I don’t write these posts to boast about where I’ve been, but to inspire you to see the world! There is so much out there! Quit waiting to see it! Book your trip today!

The Bannf Gondola - For $30 you can ride a gondola to the top of Sulphur Mountain. It is well worth the money. The views from the top are beyond breathtaking. It is a 9 minute ride up. You won’t regret it!

The View of the City from the Top – This is the view looking town at the town of Bannf from the top of Sulphur. It is unbelievable!

The Mountains! - Everywhere you look . . . Ridiculous mountains! Everywhere! Seriously! Endless hiking. Endless beauty.

The Wildlife - We saw elk, bear, ram, deer, and gophers! It was awesome! You’ll see wildlife while you’re hiking, while you’re walking around town, and while you’re driving!

The Fairmont Bannf Springs Hotel – We got the privilege of staying in this hotel. It is going to be hard to top that experience. It’s a castle! Regardless of whether or not you get to stay here, it’s worth going to and checking out. The views from the hotel are unreal, there is an outdoor heated pool looking out at the mountains, and the food is second to none.

Lake Louise - It’s worth renting a car and taking a 45 minute ride to Lake Louise! From Bannf to the Lake, you can take the 1A highway which is open road and you’re almost guaranteed to see some incredible wildlife! This is where we saw the bear and elk! The lake is absolutely stunning and one of the highlights of Bannf, for sure!

Lake Morraine - This was still frozen when we were there, but once again, incredible views! It’s worth the 10 minute drive from Lake Louise!

Cows Ice Cream - If you really know me, you’ll know I love ice cream! When I go on vacation, I get ice cream everyday, no matter what! Cows in Canada is the best Ice cream I’ve ever had. My flavor of choice: Gooey Mooey. Burnt sugar ice cream with chocolate caramel cups! UNREAL!

Right now, I’m sitting in my hotel room in Bannf, Canada overlooking the Canadian Rocky Mountains. They are magnificent! I’ve been blessed to get to travel to some pretty cool places and see some pretty incredible things. I love traveling, I think I’ll always love it, and I have plenty of places on my travel bucket list left to hit up!

However, I didn’t always get to travel or see cool places. It was something I always dreamed of, but never thought would actually happen. Now that it has, I realize that traveling around the world is very similar to achieving success in life, having a lot of money, or buying your dream house.

Why? Because You could have millions in the bank, you could travel the world, you could buy everything you’ve ever wanted, but if you don’t have family and close friends to enjoy it all with, you’re one of the poorest people on the planet.

I’ve found that one of the biggest contributors to enjoying life is a direct result of making memories and enjoying life with the people you love the most.

If you get to do life with people that you love, then it doesn’t matter where you go, what you do, or what you have, you’ll be living the richest lives you can live.

Because of this, I consider myself a millionaire a thousand times over!
