A 30 Day Challenge to Change Your Life

As you all know I’m I really enjoy Beach Body products! As I started researching the company and it’s instructors, I started following some of them on Twitter. I started following, Chalene Johnson, who made Chalene Extreme and other exercise programs. I’ve never done any of her workouts, but I started following her on Twitter. I really enjoyed her tweets about leadership, motivation, and social media.

It turns out she is actually a motivational speaker, a business owner, and gets mentored by Brian Tracy.

In the beginning of the year she made a free 30-day challenge program available to anyone who wants to grow personally. I’m currently in the second week of it, and it’s making a huge difference in the way I live day to day. I’ve been learning how to become more effective at setting priorities, setting and attaining goals, and maintaining a daily to-do list. It’s helped immensely.

I’d recommend for you to go through the challenge. Once you sign up, you get a 5-10 minute video from Chalene e-mailed to you daily. The videos always come with something practical to apply to your life and often contain free documents you can download to help you through the journey.

It’s been so helpful, I thought I’d share it with you. I hope you’ll take advantage of it. It’s free! If you’re interested in growing yourself, you need to!

Enjoy!

Re-Thinking Social Networking

This video from Seth Godin really challenged me on social networking this weekend. I’m really re-thinking the way I do social networking. This statement is what challenged me the most:

“Networking is always important when it’s real and it’s always a useless distraction when it’s fake”

Here are some questions I’m asking myself. In the future I’ll post about my social media strategy. I’d love to hear your thoughts on these questions:

  • How can we use social media to make real connections?
  • How can we really add value to people through social media?
  • How do you measure the success of how we use social media?
  • Are we really making a difference through our efforts?
  • How much of the way I use social media is a useless distraction?

Thoughts?
