I was too tired to post this last night – here is a recap/thoughts from the week:

• Pastor John is doing 2 great series right now – “Enemies of Purpose” and a Series on Prayer - Listen to them here!

• You should listen to the message called “Believe You’ve got it” – It’s a life changing message by Keith Moore

• Been feeding on this series by Keith Moore as well

• Also – I found the church John Maxwell goes to!! I’m in Heaven! He’s a teaching pastor there  – you can watch his messages here – highly recommend them!

• Watched Kicking and Screaming again this week – hilarious!

• We canceled church Saturday night because of weather – had an amazing night sled riding and playing rock band with friends!

• I got to go to the Steelers playoff game with Ben Rath – it was an unbelievable experience!

4 days into 2009 already! I’m loving the new year! I had an increidble vacation from work and now I’m ready to tear it up in the new year for Revolution! Here are some thoughts/links from the week:

• I performed my first funeral service on Saturday – it was an honor and a privledge to be able to do that. I was really nervous, but God gave me the grace, and everything turned out alright. God’s Word always brings hope to people – so that made it a lot easier

• Revolution kicked off our new series “Dirty Little Secrets” this weekend – Pastor Nathan had a great message

• 19 North kicked off their series “Hope” and Zack Blair tore it up! You should listen to his message on hope here.

• The New Years Party we hosted at my house was a blast – a girl caught her hair on fire and spilled sauce on our carpet – other than that – it was a huge success

• Pastor John started a new series called “The Enemy of Purpose” – I’m pretty pumped up about it

That’s all I got… I’m exhausted… back to normal life tomorrow!

I hope you all had an amazing Christmas!  Here are my last Sunday reflections for 2008:

• The best gift I got for Christmas was a book – “The Alchemest”
• I’m convinced one of the best gifts you can give are books – make sure you write on the inside cover! It makes a difference!
• I got to spend some time with my dad and sister – it was great – I love them both so much!
• I saw 3 movies so far this break: 7 Pounds (Must see), Valkyrie (worth seeing once), Marley and Me (No comment)
• Almost done with Keith Moore’s series on Diligence – it is changing my life – Definitely worth listening to!
• I’ve almost done with my 2008 year end review – it’s been incredible spending a ton of time with God – I am so pumped for what He has in store in 2009 – Whew!
• Here are all the articles/blog posts I thought were worth reading this week
