Last night, Laura and I went to see “The King’s Speech” with her dad. I never even heard of the movie until her dad suggested we go see it. I’m so glad we went!

It was one of the best movies I’ve seen in a long time for a lot of reasons. It’s definitely the best movie I’ve seen in the past year. If you enjoy inspirational movies, you need to see this. If you enjoy history, you need to see this movie. It’s a movie about overcoming obstacles, fears, and ourselves. It’s a movie about becoming the person we’re intended to be. I plan on seeing it again.

If you see one movie this year, see The Kings Speech. You won’t regret it.

So last night I got to see this movie – I heard good things about it. After seeing it I have a few thoughts – if you’re looking for a great action movie – you’ll love this. However, be prepared to get really ticked off. Not because the movie was bad, but because the movie shows some of the realities of human trafficking around the world. I literally couldn’t and still can’t comprehend that stuff like that is actually happening in places all of the world everyday.

It really made me think – what are we doing to truly make a difference in this world? How long can we sit around and just allow things like that to happen while we sit back and enjoy our luxuries. This movie really got my heart stirring up to go out into the world and be a part of changing it. Long story short – see the movie and let me hear your thoughts.
